Scenes from a window

This morning the grocer was (much as usual) fairly bored. The greengrocer as usual busy and running. The butcher already has put out the display cabinet with the whole roast pork which seems to take a week to sell entirely.

This evening there were many competing cars in the foreground when I fetched the camera, but now gone, you see the busyness in the Piazza below. It has been a curious day. Perhaps the weather has people out in numbers looking out of sorts. Perhaps there is some scandal about. Perhaps they are expecting a visit from Tony Abbott. Something is not right. Helen has invited me to dinner at Tre Scalini, underground, just down there. I am in trouble if I write more.
