It being Wednesday we went to Vitorchiano to buy some more wonder-artichokes from the farmer of Lake Bolseno who has a stall in the markets in Vitorchiano.
As well as wandering in the old town again we found a vantage point from which to see it more clearly. And apart from the wonder of it all, we were in awe of the modern plumbing. If you don't like the exposure of the practicals, consider the Centre Pompidou.
